The parish has a variety of organizations to enhance our liturgies, to help us grow in our community, and to serve the needs of others.

St. Vincent de Paul Society Conference

The Parish St. Vincent de Paul Conference helps the us address the needs of people around us. The Cathedral’s area of responsibility is the area adjacent to the Church extending several blocks in each direction. The group serves the needy and those requiring emergency assistance within that area. Food, clothing, furniture, medicine/prescriptions and other necessities of life are the usual forms of assistance. No monies are given to recipients of aid. Assistance is in form of food vouchers and certificates (for medical prescriptions) and checks to suppliers as needed. Monies to support the society are collected from parishioners through a targeted monthly collection at the doors of the Cathedral. For more information, call the Parish Office at 859-431-2060.
